Friends of Ruby

Ruby was born on her homelands on the Colorado Plateau. She grew up among paternal and maternal relatives from the Black Mountains region. She married a Korean war veteran who she had children with. Ruby raised her children in the traditional Dineh culture. As she aged, the onset of serious health conditions started to take her ability to be independent. Now diagnosed with advanced skin cancer. This collation of artists donating their sale proceeds to cover costs associated with my dearest friend’s care. Thank you to those who believe art can heal. C.B.
